West Vale Academy
We are a primary in Calderdale and part of Great Heights Trust MAT. We have our own teacher training organisation AA Teamworks Scitt https://aateamworksscitt.org/ which trains primary and secondary teachers. The SCITT is hosted on our site so you will be able to see our specialist training room and facilities as part of your visit
Our school takes trainees from the SCITT each year so you can gain experience in being in a school but also by speaking to current trainees you can find out more about the process of training
