St William's Catholic Primary School
Welcome to St William’s Catholic Academy, part of the Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust. St William’s is a very welcoming, family community where the wellbeing and personal development of each child is central to our mission.
We provide exceptionally well for pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. Pupils’ behaviour is exemplary, and children are safe and cared for in our school.
We have highly skilled and knowledgeable staff who deliver fantastic lessons, classes have a range of highly interesting activities and pupils work at a brisk pace. Teachers make it extremely clear to pupils what they are to learn, and they ask questions which stretch pupils. Teaching assistants are exceptionally skillful at supporting and teaching pupils of all abilities.
There is a vibrant learning atmosphere in school; pupils are excited by their learning and enjoy school immensely. Our excellent curriculum helps children to see the links between subjects and offers them many opportunities to practice their writing and mathematics.
We have close links with the Parish of Blessed Edmund Duke and our school is a prayerful community where worship is a regular and meaningful part of the day.
