About our school experience
- Details
-
We are committed to creating a foundation of highly skilled and motivated teachers within our local community. As such, we are enthusiastic about offering experience within our school.
We work with Prestolee SCITT to offer school experience mornings throughout the year, giving you an insight into how our school is run, and a glimpse into the day in the life of a teacher. Prestolee SCITT will contact all those who request school experience at our school to communicate our availability and any upcoming opportunities.
Attendees will experience lessons in two different year groups during our school experience mornings. We try to accommodate requests for experience in specific year groups wherever possible. During your visit, you will receive a welcome from the Prestolee SCITT team and the head teacher, and you will have the opportunity to question both school staff and the SCITT team about teaching or teacher training. You will also be provided with information about the SCITT’s teacher training programmes during your visit.
