Christ Church, Church of England Secondary Academy
Christ Church Secondary Academy is a growing and inclusive community where every student is valued and supported to achieve their God‑given potential. As a Church of England Academy, we welcome young people of all faiths, the Christian faith and no faith, and we take pride in the rich diversity of backgrounds and experiences that shape our school. Our vision is grounded in life, light and love, reflecting our belief that students thrive when they learn and live well together in a compassionate and hopeful community.
At the heart of our culture are our Academy values of compassion, collaboration, strength and aspiration. These values shape our expectations, inspire our students to aim high, and help them develop the character and confidence they need for successful and fulfilling lives.
As a relatively new and growing 11–18 Academy, we are proud of the strong foundations we are building — academically, pastorally and spiritually. Our dedicated staff, enthusiastic students and supportive parents and carers work in partnership to create a nurturing, ambitious and thriving school community.

Ark Teacher Training (ATT) is a school-based programme offering the perfect mixture of theory and classroom practice to develop you into the best teacher you can be. Because we believe that every child, regardless of their background, deserves to have access to a great education, we work mainly in communities of lower income with a history of academic underachievement. We are very proud to have just received our second ‘outstanding’ rating from Ofsted in all categories! There are only a few ITTs in the UK that can say the same
