High View School
At High View we want our children to develop a life-long love of learning and to be curious, motivated and excited about coming to school. We want children of all age groups to skip into school with awe and wonder in their hearts.
We want all of our children to feel safe and well supported, no matter what challenges they may face. Learning at High View is interesting and exciting, with an ethos rooted in mutual respect, kindness and tolerance. Children come to school with a positive attitude, they are kind to one another and are eager to learn. They have a tremendous pride in what they achieve, both academically and creatively. During their time with us, children develop curiosity, confidence to take challenges and a voice that can be heard. Our oracy work is fundamental in developing children’s ability to reflect upon and challenge ideas, ask questions and build on the ideas and opinions of others. Creativity is embedded in our school and we place as much emphasis on the core subjects as we do all other subjects – this can be seen as soon as you walk through the door.
