School profile

Busbridge Infant School

Busbridge Infant School is a thriving two-form entry Infant school with a growing Preschool (opened September 2024). The children are well behaved, polite and respectful and the staff are hardworking and dedicated to achieving every child's true potential across the breadth of the curriculum.

We have a large outdoor area for the children to learn and play in - a playground, a school field, an astroturf area as well as a Woodland School. EYFS children attend Woodland weekly and KS1 fortnightly.

The continual pursuit of excellence underpins everything we do at Busbridge Infants, alongside four clear values: respect, resilience, creativity and collaboration.

About our school experience

Details

We very much like to work with you to give you the best experience possible so do get in touch to discuss what that means for you.

Typically, candidates will be placed in one class with the class teacher as your first point of access for the day. You will be given the opportunity to work with children across a variety of subjects in the day. This may be hearing readers, supporting or extending children's knowledge within a particular lesson, preparing resources, supervising on break duty or supporting at a club. You will also have the opportunity to meet other staff members at break or lunchtime.

Start and finish times
8:15am to 3:45pm - Flexible

The start and finish times listed above allow candidates to experience morning team meetings and dismissal at the end of the day. Please speak to the Headteacher (Mrs Anna Chalk) if amendments need to be made.
