The Kingsbrook School
The Kingsbrook School is a co-educational secondary school. TKS has a dedicated Additional Resource Unit that caters for students with a range of Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues.
The school opened as part of Insignis Academy Trust in September 2022.
The school community has the exciting opportunity to grow and develop each year as the school grows.

During a school visit to The Kingsbrook School you will:

•Observe students during their lessons
•Have the opportunity to talk to current trainees and teachers at the start of their careers to learn about their experiences and journey to qualified teacher status
•Connect with subject teachers, and find out about the curriculum in your specialist subject
•Have an opportunity to ask questions about routes into teaching and training in an Insignis Academy Trust School - Start and finish times

With prior arrangement, the school is able to arrange visits that meet the needs of individuals interested in training with Insignis SCITT or as a Post Graduate Teaching Apprentice.

Insignis Academy Trust SCITT is working in partnership with Teach First to provide School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) leading to Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE. The one-year, school based, research-led training will give you plenty of hands-on experience and allows you to train to teach in an Insignis Academy Trust (IAT) school.
Insignis Academy Trust also work in partnership with the National Institute of Teaching in Education based at Coventry University, to offer a 15 month Teaching Apprenticeship leading to QTS and a PGCE.
