Dover Grammar School for Girls
DGGS is a selective Girls Grammar secondary school in South East Kent with approximately 894 students on roll. As a school we have a long tradition of academic standards combined with a strong caring community. We aim to inspire the students to be aspirational in their plans for the future; to grow into well rounded individuals, developing the skills, talents and their character to enable them to flourish in tomorrow's world. This is reflected in the strong collective identity that DGGS has and the value placed on the vision tricolon: "Building character, fostering respect and achieving success". Alongside the school's strong teaching throughout Key stages 3, 4 and 5 DGGS also offers popular, additional experiences throughout the whole school. These include STEM opportunities, CEIAG workshops, talks and trips, Sports Leadership programmes and D of E to name but a few.
