School profile

West Grantham Church of England Secondary Academy

We are a small, friendly 11-16 Church of England Academy that serves an area with high levels of deprivation. We believe that every child should be championed and we have high expectations of all.

Working here is a joy. Our staff are friendly, approachable and keen to help. Our students are the same.

Behaviour in lessons is good and we offer a huge range of extra-curricular activities, included in a weekly enrichment session.

Staff here have the option to work flexibly and all receive bespoke CPD.

About our school experience

Details

We like to offer the chance be in classrooms and experience the life of a teacher. We have a thorough ECT programme and are well-able to support new members of staff.
Observing mulitple members of staff teach is something that we condone and there is plenty of opportunity to work directly with pupils both in and out of lessons.
